Thoughts on love teeth removal

I don't want the drugs.
I am going to to go to the surgery and say " put a little general anaesthetic then just cut open my gum take the teeth out and leave me be."

You may be thinking but Kim what about the pain ?
When my teeth were coming in I would pull them out before they were even that wobbly. Once I pulled one out in the waiting room of the dentists office because I was bored of waiting around for him to do it. Once the receptionist saw blood oozing down little Kim's 7 year old shirt, I got ahead of the line. I sat in the dentist chair, he looked in my mouth and said " Couldn't wait huh? had to show me up ? well here is some gauze, Goodbye".

I am debating pulling my own wisdom teeth out in the kitchen with a knife. My gum is swollen and is difficult to eat hard foods like raw vegetables. The dental surgeon is making me wait two weeks for my appointment to talk about the surgery appointment.

What B.S ! Just for a little tooth yanking. I miss the days when the barber used also be the dentist.

In positive wisdom teeth news, different names for wisdom teeth in far off lands:

-In Korean, its name is Sa-rang-nee (사랑니, love teeth) referring to the young age and the pain of the first love.

-In Japanese, its name is Oyashirazu (親知らず), literally meaning "unknown to the parents," from the idea that they erupt after a child has moved away.

-The Indonesian term gigi bungsu for the last teeth a person cuts refers to bungsu, meaning "youngest child", because the teeth erupt so much later than the others, implying that the teeth are "younger" than the rest.
