Yesterday I bought a Polka Dot Plant (Hypoestes Phyllostachya).
It is a bush plant native to Madagascar. This plant is not edible but I thought it would add some color to herb plant pot.
Also it was in the darkest uncared for corner in the Safeway Floral department. On the bottom shelf of the till desk facing the watering cans out of passerbys view. It was neglected and had not been watered in a very long time. I had to rescue it from a short life filled with dry torture.
In other news by herbs have yet to sprout. Will they sprout? Time will tell.
