Last night:
Sunset surf in perfect conditions with heavy waves and perfect wind. Out of shower to find old surf friends surprise visiting in my kitchen with 24 pk of Caribou. Went to the one "club" in town to find it completely renovated and looking quite smart. Perhaps we cant refer to it as the "Dirty Maq" anymore ? More and more friends. $2 beers $8 pitchers. A good Dj which is rare in Tofino.
Finally the proper welcome home.
Dancing,undetermined amount of booze. Total of money spent ? $8.00
Woke up this morning in a van on the dock to the sunrise over the sound.*
Now that is a night out.
* Really good friend's van though the story would have been better if it was a random one. Will work on this in a couple of weekends.
