First off, the title is a great joke. Its women ! Women are the obscure objects of desire. I love Bunuel's sense of humour.

From the interview I heard read aloud in my international film course, Bunuel despises nothing more than if you derive meaning from his movies.

So I am going to state the images and lines that I liked without trying to derive "meaning" from them.

- All the random territorist explosions
-shooting at a toy dog with a double barrel rifle in the the light of day
-two women who are completely different playing the same role seamlessly
- the courtyard gate
-The Flamenco dancing
-The line " You are not my father"
-Conchita's mom love of pity and charity.
-Chasity panties
-The pyschologist little person and the entire bizarre train group
