Last night Ty opened my door and commanded I put my shoes and coat on.
She led me to a secluded ocean cove in Oak Bay.
The winds were strong and violent.
The waves they created were lapping and consuming the shore.
I undid the laces of my Cons.
Looked over at Ty who was nurturing the deep silence.
" I am going in"
She looks forwards nods with complete understanding.
In the dark I take off my layers, run and dive in the smoldering black ocean.
Till the day I die no one will ever believe me when I say the water was warm.
I stood up reached my cupped hands back in and dressed my face with a veil of salt water.
Walked back to the shore slowly.
The wind wrapped around me and I didn't shake.
For the first time in over a month I felt a strange feeling: Comfortable.
