I am sick and the swell is picking up for this weekend.
Golden West Swell.
So in order to not be a fool about this I have taken measures:
1. I have had zero being sick denial. Denial of the fact that you are ill leads to you doing more which will make you worse and drag this being sick charade on for longer. I admitted that I had fallen ill first thing this morning. Called work and have slept 16 hours thus far.
2. I have FORCED myself to eat healthy food with lots of nutrition.
Breakfast: brown rice, salmon, onions and tomatoes.
Snack :apple
Dinner: Chicken noodle soup with added garlic and ginger ( This was made by the sweetest new guy at my work. Thank you Riley ! )
3. I have drank three glass of Cranberry juice and 1.5 litres of water.
I am now going to watch Good Morning Vitetnam for the second time and continue sleeping.
Wish me luck and say a pray hopefully tomorrow when the surf comes I will be there!!
